WebOct 6, 2009 · The manual says to use 80W90 gear oil but I've seen a lot of information here recommending to use 75W140. Not sure if this applies to my older vehicle as well. I'm leaning towards the 75W140 since I carry a camper and plan on towing a jeep. I'm thinking about using Valvoline 75W140 fully synthetic which already has an additive for limited slip.
